bananas foster

Ok, so I'm no food photog and certainly no P-Dub, but here goes -- a recipe for super easy bananas foster -- the way my momma taught me. I'm not sure we can officially call this "bananas foster"since there is no rum and no one brings it to your table and lights it on fire, but its dad gum good anyway.

Here is what you need:

Melt some butter/margarine in a skillet on med-high and swirl it around.

Now add some brown sugar. I was clearly showing off for the camera because this is about 3X more than i needed. SOOO put 3X less brown sugar than this in the skillet and stir it around until it melts.

(If it's clumpy and not saucy enough add some more butter)

Add a few of drops of vanilla and a couple of shakes of some cinnamon and then throw in your sliced up banana.

Stir it around until they are as mushy as you want them (we like ours pretty mushy!). Scoop them up and put them on top of some ice cream.

Voila!

Husband approved!

xoxo.
